Largest - The largest recorded tree fungus is a specimen of the bracket fungus Rigidoporus ulmarius growing from dead elm wood in the grounds of the C.A.B. Mycological Institute at Kew, Surrey, United Kingdom. This perennial species measured 58 x 47 in with a circumference of 161 in in December 1989 and is still growing. (Photo: Mycological Institute)
